Fiji is one of my favorite places in the world. It is one Adam and I haven’t experienced together yet, but whenever we get the chance to be temporary islanders in any tropical destination we feel the most at home.  Cap D’ail

Decorated in wealth, this luxurious destination will have you both feeling like royalty. This ritzy spot is intimidating, we both thought “what the hell are we doing here?” At first. The beaches here are unlike anywhere else, covered in pebbled rocks, you can find them nestled into the limestone cliffs with water so clear and turquoise you can hardly believe your eyes. It just looks so damn romantic, we felt like we were dreaming. We hit all of the coastal beach towns along the Riviera: Marseille, St. Tropez, Cannes, Nice and Monaco while exploring the nearby beaches along the way. Each offered something different with the same romanticism as the last.

This string of secluded, quiet islands in the Caribbean is a true luxury-tourism destination. The lifestyle is easy going, the locals warm and experiences unlike anything else. The islands of Turks and Caicos are known as the world’s top islands and are also home to Grace Bay Beach which was named 2nd Best Beach in 2017.  The all-inclusive resorts, luxury spas and oceanfront villas reveal romanticism.

Getting to Coronado is a simple trek across the Coronado Bridge connecting this island to downtown San Diego. The naval base city offers a taste of the East Coast’s upper peninsula with white cottages and simple charm decorating the entire city. There are quaint shops, cozy restaurants, streets of gorgeous cottages and a long stretch of beach facing Point Loma with naval planes flying close above.

The famous Hotel Del Coronado, which was the world’s largest resort when it was built back in 1888, can be found here. The acres of white wood covering the exterior of its entirety offers an old-fashioned vibe exuding the history of it. 11 US presidents have been some of the few famous folk who made a stay here, while the movie Some Like It Hot can credit the hotel for its scenes with Marilyn Monroe. The coziness of its charming interiors and views of the Pacific make this place pretty damn romantic.  San Diego is equally as romantic with beaches, coastal views and a US Navy bases located within the city.

Point Loma is a former Naval Training Center located on the coastal cliffs with incredible views of the Pacific. Further north along the coast you will find the upscale neighborhood of La Jolla with a gorgeous secluded beach known as Blacks Beach, nestled below the cliffs.

This is Portugal’s southernmost region known for its unique beaches and golf resorts (sorry no guys trips allowed). Here you’ll fine attractive fishing villages resting on low cliffs with sandy coves and gorgeous water. The romanticism will almost kill you. There are numerous beaches here all within an easy-ish distance of each other, they are cozied up in coves along the shoreline where you can duck away for some privacy.
